(Before It's News)

President Donald Trump says he will drain the swamp better known as Washington,D.C., but will he actually be able to get rid  of all the rodents and other furry creatures that go boo in the night?

Trump is obviously referring to all of the “inside the beltway” corruption and cronyism that career political and government insiders that have caused over the years.

But can the Commander-In-Chief call on his team of exterminators to clean out the actual rodents that call the U.S. Capitol complex their home?

Capitol Hill has a rat problem, and his name ain’t Chuck E. Cheese.

According to Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who spends his nights sleeping on an air mattress in his fifth floor office at the Cannon House Office bldg, the building is full of rats or mice.

We have a rat problem-Rep.Matt Gaetz

Now knowing that his  office building has a rodent problem, Gaetz told the Shark Tank that he is seriously rethinking his living arraignments after a one of the cleaning ladies questioned him about why he was still sleeping on the floor in his office.

Gaetz did not say if he was going to undertake exterminating efforts himself, or call it in to Speaker Ryan. Considering how Ryan and others loused up the Obamacare repeal and replace bill, Gaetz may have to take it upon himself to set the traps.
