FLASHBACK London Mayor Echoes Obama, Says People Should Just Get Used To Terrorism

(Before It's News)

LONDON — On Wednesday, March 22, immediately following an Islamic terrorist attack on the British Houses of Parliament, Muslim Mayor of London Sadiq Khan told British citizens that Islamic terrorism was “part and parcel” of living in a big city.
His sentiments were soon echoed by member of the Lord Digby Jones. “You’re safer in London than you’ve ever been,” Jones declared. adding, “If this turns out to be an act of Islamic terrorism, I think the fact that the man is a Muslim is utterly and completely irrelevant.”
As it happens, statements similar to those of Jones and Khan — representing the dangerously defeatist mindset pervasive in Western culture where it concerns Islam– were made by former President Barack Hussein Obama.
We can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever … we absorbed it and we are stronger.
The visible and often offensive tendency to sanitize acts of Islamic terrorism and portray the atrocities committed by jihadis as issues of “law and order,” rather than wanton acts of war by an invading force, characterized the 44th president of the United States.
Like the Muslim mayor of London, Barack Obama ostensibly wanted Americans to accept Islamic terrorism as the “new normal,” and in some cases, he elevated the attackers.
Remember, that Obama is a man who once told the NYT that the call to prayer is the “prettiest sound on Earth,” proposed giving Osama Bin Laden a trial, and his last week in office, released high risk terrorists from Gitmo.

A full 121 Gitmo detainees released by Obama returned to terrorism and war against the U.S.

Obama didn’t just accept the “new normal” now on display in London. He helped create it.

Ben Franklin once said that, “He who is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.”
It is easier to look competent when those judging the performance are already psychologically primed for failure — or consider a small failure equal to a small win. It is also easier to systematically tear down a nation’s defenses, when each act of war against its citizens comes complete with a rational explanation.
Let’s review:

When Omar Mateen shot up a nightclub in the name of ISIS, Obama told Americans “we” were to blame, and that Mateen was a victim of “gun culture” and also likely confused about his sexuality.

When San Bernardino occurred, we were told the shooters’ motivations were unclear.
When Fort Hood occurred, and Nidal Malik Hassan gunned down our unarmed military police (disarmed by former President Bill Clinton in the ’90s) while shouting “allahu akhbar!” we were told it was “workplace violence” and that any subsequent investigation was tantamount to “political theater.”

The “audacity” doesn’t end there. During his farewell address, Obama spent thirty minutes telling a cherry-picked audience of salivating super-fans that there were no terrorist attacks while he was president (a bald faced lie). The delusional ‘oohs’ and ‘aaahs’ were eerily similar to the fact-starved fanatics seen in footage of the Nuremburg rallies or May Day parades in Red Square.

Obama then explained that the bloodbaths of Fort Hood, San Bernadino, and Orlando (the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history) were examples of “radicalization” — not terrorism.

In other “fake news”: “It depends on what the meaning of ‘is,’ is.” Also, Korea wasn’t a war — it was a “police action.”

In the fantasy reality that defined the Obama administration, Islam could never be the motive or basis for violent acts — a faith-based belief that simultaneously weakened the defenses of America and its allies in the process.
And Obama’s toxic mindset, now permeating the thinking of British public figures, is still doing damage to our collective security.

EDITOR’S NOTE: British Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed the perpetrator, who killed 4 and injured 40 Wednesday, was a known Islamic terrorist under surveillance by British intelligence — begging the question, why was he not under lock and key?

The Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack Thursday calling him a “soldier of the caliphate.”
