I Don’t Know Who Took Over FNC From Roger Ailes But I’m Impressed
Judge Andrew Napolitano worked for Fox News Channel for a number of years. His job description called him a ‘Legal Analyst’. Not long ago he wandered off the legal reservation and got himself caught up in conspiracy topics that had nothing to do with legal analysis. He reported that several people, who he would not name, had told him that former President Obama had spied on Presidential candidate Trump.
For a long time I respected Napolitano. He had insights that few others could produce. But somehow he contracted the illness that has been plaguing CNN and the other three-letter news bureaus. Instead of hard news they are reporting rumors, innuendo, and lies.
I respect whomever is making decisions at FNC because they called Napolitano on his errors and cut him off. That is the right way to run a news bureau. If you don’t have good reporters doing good news you are not a news channel. One by one the mainstream news sources have fouled their nests and their reputations. The trusted sources all produced false news. Their former stars are all disgraced yet the companies still allow the people they have left to produce falsehoods.
The removal of Judge Napolitano is a pleasant change in a world where lies are increasingly accepted. Someone cares about the future of Fox News and is protecting its reputation for truth.
