Nancy Pelosi Throws Healthcare Hypocrisy Into Overdrive
With all the verbiage that comes out of her, it had to happen eventually — Nancy Pelosi has said something true. Or at least it would be true if someone else had said it. Coming from her, even this is a lie:
The American people and Members have a right to know the full impact of this legislation before any vote in Committee or by the whole House.
This undeniable truth is from a letter she sent to the current Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan.
The last time an ill-advised bill to transform healthcare insurance into a federal welfare program was shoved through the House, Nasty herself was Speaker. Here is what she had to say back then:
“[W]e have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it — away from the fog of the controversy.”
