(Before It's News)

Florida Attorney General, Pam Bondi told The Shark Tank’s Javier Manjarres the war on drug in the state still continues but is not limited to just Florida. The whole country is having an issue with opioids and they are trying hard to fight it.

Bondi said:

The drug problem has been a round forever and unfortunately the drugs keep changing, basically with technology and getting worse and ever stronger then the others.

The new epidemic is apparently heroin. Heroin is also sometimes mixed with the very strong pain killer methadone which makes it even more potent and dangerous to consumers.

She said heroin is coming from “Asia, into Mexico and into our state” and it is coming in a pill form which is an upgrade from the classic injection method which makes it easier to consume and get addicted to.

Bondi also said President Trump is very much against drugs and she is confident he is going to help offset the problem not only by securing the borders which will stop the drugs from coming in but also work on addressing the existing addiction crisis on a national level.
