Tillerson on This Week 4-9-2017
Here is Secretary of State Tillerson answering questions from George Stephanopoulos on This Week. In this interview, Tillerson says more about Russia's failure to live up to their agreements. Russia is supposed to be the guarantor of securing, destroying, and monitoring Assad's chemical weapons agreements of 2013.
I got a kick out of Tillerson speculating whether Russia is incompetent, outmaneuvered by Assad!
Then there was a more in-depth conversation about North Korea. He said President Xi wants North Korea to change their views about the need for continuing to improve their missile delivery systems. The US has asked North Korea to cease testing their weapons.
Lastly, the interview turned to Mexico and the problems of illegal immigration, drugs coming into the US, and US weapons getting into the hands of Mexican drug gangs.
