Trump Donates Entire First-Quarter Salary to National Park Service

The point is not to what group he donated the money. The point is that Trump is a dedicated public servant, serving for the good of the country, not fattening at the public trough like the Clintons and so many others.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer announced Monday that President Donald Trump has donated his entire first-quarter salary of $78,333.32 to the National Park Service.

“The president has spoken with counsel and made the decision to donate his first-quarter salary in total to a government entity, and he has chosen this quarter to donate it to the National Park Service,” Spicer said during the White House daily press briefing.

“The president is personally proud to contribute the first quarter of his salary to the important mission of the Park Service,” Spicer added.

The White House spokesman then presented, “on behalf of the president, “a check for $78,333.32 to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and the newly named superintendent of the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Tyrone Brandyburg.

Trump was partially inspired by the work that the Park Service does to restore national battlegrounds, according to Spicer….
