March for Science

Appalachian Voices is a proud sponsor of the March for Science. Join us and more than 170 partner organizations, scientists and concerned citizens on April 22 in Washington, D.C. to take a public stand against budget cuts, censorship of researchers, disappearing datasets, and threats to dismantle government agencies which harm us all, putting our health, food, air, water, climate, and jobs at risk.

Peoples Climate March

Let’s show Washington we care about the climate! Join us for the People’s Climate March on April 29 in Washington, D.C. hosted by the People’s Climate Movement. The first climate march took place in 2014, when over 400,000 people gathered in the streets of New York City. Help us bring even more people together to demand urgent action on the global climate crisis.
