Military Savy? High Security Clearance and UFO(s)

(Before It's News)

Lee Speigel at AOL News has an article about Retired Col. John Alexander:

Using his military savvy and high security clearance, spent a quarter of a century going through the top levels of the U.S. government and military searching for the group of people who were allegedly responsible for UFO information and the supposedly decades-old UFO cover-up.

His conclusions: Not only is there no such group and no cover-up, but disclosure about UFOs has already occurred on different official levels.

I tend to think that the only thing governments are covering up, as far as UFOs are concerned, is their own ignorance about UFOs.

Remember, governments are not interested in keeping you safe. Rather, they are interested in making you feel safe. That tiny shift in emphasis makes a world of difference (which I won’t go into here, in too much depth).

How safe would you feel if your government came out and said “there are craft entering our airspace all the time, and we cannot identify them. Moreover, they are occasionally kidnapping our citizens, or experimenting on them, and we seem to be unable to do anything about it”?

Governments tend to be more interested in protecting government power; and to do that, they need to appear to be on top of things at all times. Thus if they don’t understand something, or otherwise cannot do anything about it, it is sometimes in their best interest to pretend it doesn’t exist.

Think I am totally off the mark on this one? Drop a comment in the comments section below :)

Have a great weekend!
Best,
- Daniel
