(Before It's News)

Grave robbers once stalked this old cemetery.
On July 9, 1886 the Omaha Daily Bee reported that a gang of body snatchers were chased from the Hastings Cemetery on a Wednesday night. They were nimble limbed fellows and shot over headstones and fences at a two-minute gait.

The Ridge Cemetery Association has improved landscape, paved streets, erected a monument in Potter’s Field, and installed a new arched gate. Source
