Phoenix Zombie Walk – HUGE EVENT!

Saturday, October 27th is the annual zombie walk in downtown Phoenix. Last year, there were 4000 participants. This year, they predict many more!

Last year, Julie and I went as Stella and Liz from our Zombie Housewives of the Apocalypse book. It was the single most amazing mass event I have ever been a part of. They closed off the downtown streets, had cop cars blocking the roadways, street lights flashing, high rises towering overhead as thousands of zombies moaned and stumbled and remained in character. It was as close to the apocalypse as you can get! We aren’t doing it this year because of prior commitments, but we highly recommend it!!!

The Arizona Ghostbusters do a fantastic job of hosting the event and the Department of Zombie Defense put on an amazing and impressive show of wrangling the zombies.
