Playful Toy Ghost of Patterson

Investigators: Bring electronic toys if you have them! When we arrived the homeowner showed us her home, the huge attic, the barn that has a zillion cobwebs, dust, miscellaneous items and brown recluse spiders. There were certain areas of the barn that I refused to go into, because of the brown recluse spiders. I definitely don’t want to be bitten. The poison from a brown recluse spider can cause an infection in which you can lose one of your limbs and in a worse case scenario, you could die. The old farm house which is now in ruins was built in 1919. The barn was built in 1919. The occupant’s daughter Shelly once saw an apparition of a woman in a white gown.

During our investigation, we captured some orbs in our photos. We cannot prove that the orbs are paranormal. Jon and I went on the attic roof via a ladder and had to dodge the nails that were sticking out from the roof boards. There was a board that I had to break off with a hammer, so we could reach the attic. Finally when we did reach the attic, the door was locked. The occupant reluctantly allowed Jon to go through her home and into the attic. Jon did not get any EVPs from the attic, but did get some orb shots. Still nothing that we can consider as paranormal. Jon did mention that there were many strange sounds in the attic that he could not identify. Finally in the barn, Shari obtains an EVP of a man saying ‘oh God’. Later I obtained an EVP from the barn, in which I ask: “what is your name?” The male entity says with a faraway voice “Sanchez, my name is Sanchez”. Our first bit of evidence that indicates we may have something paranormal going on in the barn. We did learn that Mexican farm workers worked this land, perhaps Sanchez was a Mexican farm worker.

THE REVEAL:
With the two EVPs, we concluded that there does seem to be some paranormal activity in the barn. The entity seems benevolent. The entity did not get aroused by Lizzy’s cool stuffed toy that actually talks and sings. When we got back to my house, Jon and Shari related their misadventures in Patterson to the HPI General Manager Chantal Apodaca. Special Note: Thank you to the occupants for giving us pomegranates from their tree and bottled water. Lizzy, Jon, Shari and I had our debriefing at KFC – Kentucky Fried Chicken before heading home.
