Although historians and archaeologists have taught us a good deal about our ancient past, there still remains many unanswered questions and mysteries when it comes to human history. One of the most mysterious places on the planet is the ancient remains of a large city complex named Teotihuacan which translates as “The Place Where Men Become Gods”. This ancient city is located not far from Mexico City in present day Mexico and poses many unanswered questions to both archaeologists and historians. Among the most perplexing questions that remain unanswered are: who built the city, when exactly was it built, why was the city abandoned, and what was the purpose of the mica chambers?
