A.D. 1913: Set The Clock Back 100 Years
SET THE CLOCK BACK 100 YEARS
As we rip another page from the calendar and celebrate the coming of a new year, I was reflective – more so than being celebratory. I don’t know if it is because I am getting older or my kidneys can’t take the binge drinking at New Year’s parties anymore – but for me, feeling lucky that I made it through 2012 is what is important to me this year. I felt that 2012 was simply the most horrifying year I have ever seen in my life. Regardless of what people may say about so called “fear mongering,” I can attest to the scary nature of news stories from 2012 – from animal and bird die offs, to human beings eating each other to a mall shooting near my home and a tragic school shooting – I really don’t think I can ponder a time where watching the news made me nauseous.
It made you wonder if the Mayan calendar watchers were right. Now it’s all academic and – with a sigh – we can all have our “I told you so” moments. However, we must not let our guard down and think that there aren’t plans in the works to change the way we live here in the United States and the rest of the world.
I know that now there seems to be a small bit of trepidation now that anyone wants to warn you of “things to come” because perhaps it may sound a bit hollow to sound the alarm when there was so much fan fare and big scares from the constant push of a Mayan apocalypse.
So I want to warn you in a different way of what is to come. Perhaps I can do a bit of an experiment. The only problem is I will need to take out a calendar and where it says 2013 I want to remove the number two and zero and replace it with the numbers one and nine.
This way, the calendar will read 1913, one hundred years in the past. We must imagine in our minds that date from one hundred years ago and ponder the concepts of eternal recurrence. I know that during past shows prior to the so called Mayan apocalypse I spoke of time synchronicities and the idea that as we pass through the dark rift there have been theorists who have expressed the possibility of a re-synching of time and how the echoes in transit may remind us of a past event or even past history.
Sometimes it is as if we relive many moments in history and more so when it comes to politics because it seems that politicians seem to want to take old techniques, put a fresh coat of paint on them and re-sell them as some contemporary concept.
This is similar to what I believe Friedrich Nietzsche spoke about when he expressed is views on eternal recurrence.
Following in Nietzsche’s concept I could ask What if a demonic power were to steal your government when it is at its most vulnerable? What if the demonic power brought back such things as cannibalism, genocide, genetic directives and child sacrifice as a way to gain control of a frightened populace? It would create tried and true results — all in the same succession and sequence as other moments in history like the times of Hitler’s Weimar, Soviet Russia, Mao’s China, and the Argentine Dirty war?
Now perhaps a demonic power can manifest a time some one hundred years in the past where the United States was also seeing drastic measures that were being pushed by a President. The eternal hourglass of existence is turned upside down and you may want to look at how far we have come only to see how far we have not. Once again, we see that we are as significant as a speck of dust.
In 1913, a new president was inaugurated. He promised that he would bring about peace, prosperity, hope and change. His presidency was all about a new age and what he called “a new freedom.” With an eye on foreign policy, he assured America that that the US would “never” attack another country. He also concluded in his idea for a “new freedom” that the United States should prepare to be a globalist state. He hinted at the possibility of establishing a League of Nations and that there is a secret government that makes decisions behind the scenes. Woodrow Wilson wrote that
Just a month after his inauguration the constitution had to go through some changes. He maneuvered through Congress major pieces of legislation. The first was a lower tariff, the Underwood Act; attached to the measure was a graduated federal income tax. The Federal Reserve Act was also part of his legacy. The President, of course, was Woodrow Wilson and while we see ourselves comparing President Barack Obama to Lincoln or Franklin D. Roosevelt perhaps we need to put things into perspective with a little history and what happens when a President let’s his ego get the best of him and how his obsession with being a global leader brings down the country and how his abuses of the constitution make him a dictator and arguably one of the worst presidents of the United states.
Mark Twain once quipped that history really doesn’t repeat itself – it only rhymes and many things we tend to forget somehow ring through with a similar tone. In the case of our trip back in time we see many things that need to be demonstrated has having a familiar ring or rhyme – especially in this contemporary era that appears to have no rhyme or reason.
In his most famous book, ‘Congressional Government‘, Wilson confessed, “I cannot imagine power as a thing negative and not positive.” He was a power hungry President who wanted to launch the New World order his prime directive was the New American fascism. Wilson had declared “No doubt a lot of nonsense has been talked about the inalienable rights of the individual, and a great deal that was mere sentiment and pleasing speculation has been put forward as fundamental principle.”
Today his sentiment is echoed in a recent New York Times Op-Ed piece written by Louis Michael Seidmen. In the article published December 30th, 2012, Seideman states “As the nation teeters at the edge of fiscal chaos, observers are reaching the conclusion that the American system of government is broken. But almost no one blames the culprit: our insistence on obedience to the Constitution, with all its archaic, idiosyncratic and downright evil provisions.”
Funny how in 100 years the spirit of Woodrow Wilson is now showing up and that we do not learn from our past fascist leaders. We weren’t always a free country and today we seem to be heading towards a police state spirituality that requires all of us to be careful with what we say or publish, be mindful of our guns and our right o bear arms, and to now understand that we no longer have a right to avoid being spied on or seized and searched without due process.
Sideman continues with his fascist opinions by saying “Our obsession with the Constitution has saddled us with a dysfunctional political system, kept us from debating the merits of divisive issues and inflamed our public discourse. Instead of arguing about what is to be done, we argue about what James Madison might have wanted done 225 years ago.
Funny how Seidman cites that we are preoccupied with what Madison would have though 225 years ago and yet espouses the fascist spirit of Wilson some 100 years ago in 1913. How bold of him to be such a progressive and yet he boasts about his 40 years as a Constitutional Law professor. This seems to be the overall attitude of the Obama enabling where people would rather see a President use dictatorial powers to get things done rather than using checks and balances in government. This was something that Wilson felt as well when he wrote in Constitutional Government in the United States: “The President is at liberty, both in law and conscience, to be as big a man as he can. His capacity will set the limit.”
There he sounds more like an imperialist and he was willing to sacrifice all that America stood for to create his version of the United Nations called “The League of Nations.” This was his attempt at the New World Order and many Americans saw through his ego and his fascist views.
Wilson created a government apparatus whose sole purpose was to lie to the American people, the first modern ministry for propaganda in the West. It was called the Committee on Public Information and was led by journalist George Creel.
Edward Bernays – Sigmund Freud’s nephew, adviser to Wilson and a participant in CPI operations – characterized the mission of CPI as the “engineering of consent” and “the conscious manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses.”
This propaganda machine was used especially after Wilson led the United States into war in the European theater.
At Wilson’s urging, a Sedition Act forbade Americans from criticizing their own government in a time of war. Citizens could not “utter, print, write or publish any disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language” about the government or the military. The Postmaster General was given the authority to revoke the mailing privileges of those who disobeyed. About 75 periodicals were were shut down by the government in this way and many others were given warnings.
In the fashion of a police state, the Department of Justice arrested tens of thousands of individuals without just cause. One was not safe even within the walls of one’s own home to criticize the Wilson administration.
A letter to federal attorneys and marshals said that citizens had nothing to fear as long as they “Obey the law; keep your mouth shut.” In fact, the Justice Department created the precursor to the Gestapo called the American Protective League. Its job was to spy on fellow citizens and turn in “seditious” persons or draft dodgers. It is believed that 175,000 people were rounded up and put into internment camps and jails for speaking against the tyranny of Wilson, expressing their patriotism and upholding the Constitutional law. Wilson took over the US economy, infringed on American civil liberties especially by suppressing dissent, oppressed the “unpatriotic,” and purposefully sought to drag the US into war. He was called a Marxist, totalitarian, jingoistic, and militaristic. He like Barack Obama was a Democrat.
He worshiped the power of the state, and required others to follow him or face jail or stiff penalties. He was called our first fascist dictator. It all began in 1913. Yes, similarities do exist between Barack Obama and his Democratic predecessor, Woodrow Wilson. Both are stubborn and both are looked upon as Messianic leaders of their day.
It must be said and it has nothing to do with party loyalties but we must declare the truth During the years that George W. Bush was president, dissent was hailed as patriotic. Whistleblowers were treated as martyrs. The media highlighted positively efforts to stand up to the man. Keith Olbermann was called the Edward R. Morrow of the time. It was cool to speak out against the policies of what people said was a government that was taking away the rights of the people.
Now as 2013 throws us into that New Dawn feeling again, we can only ascertain that the new dawn is code for the fascist state. The same term was used to describe the Communist rule in Russia. Like Communist Russia we are told that dissent must be silenced. Anyone who speaks out against the current administration is racist and intolerant. There are demands for people who speak out against Obama to be driven away from television and radio. Social networks like Facebook have been now shutting down networks that speak out against gun control.
Anyone who now says they believe in the second amendment is told they are ignorant and insensitive. They become badgered in the media by globalist reporters like Piers Morgan – who feels that he is qualified to speak for America when he is a British reporter whose claim to fame is judging reality-based talent shows and is lucky to have his job where he is.
Raising the concern is shouted down as being fear mongering or doom mongering by mentally deficient enablers of fascism, the very same people who do not know history and believe that they have learned everything about history from a Hollywood movie.
There are many who would argue that if a politician is not as rabid and insane as Adolf Hitler or Mussolini , that you cannot label them fascist. Well it was done nearly 100 years ago in 1913 against Wilson and people were told that they were traitors. Some were jailed and others were put in reeducation camps. They were over taxed, and burdened with war under Wilson.
In 2013 we have internment camps ready, we have the pundits enabling the curtailing of freedom of speech and nearly 750 billion hollow point bullets purchased by the department of homeland security. That would be enough ordinance to riddle every citizen in the united States with over 5 bullet holes.
So, anyone out there still wanting to give up their guns?
