Walpurgis Night (in German folklore) the night of 30 April (May Day’s eve), when witches meet on the Brocken mountain and hold revels with their gods…” Brocken is the highest of the Harz Mountains of north central Germany. It is noted for the phenomenon of the Brocken spectre and for witches’ revels which reputedly took place there on Walpurgis night.

Also known as Beltane, Witches’ Night is a Witches Sabbat held every year.  Witches from all over the world celebrate it with bonfires, get togethers and spell casting.  There are thousands of witches all over the world.   The western monotheist attempts at ridding the world of witchcraft has failed even though the burning times continue in other places of the world.  Witchcraft has flourished.  There are quite a few places where you can find witches covens gathering to castspells on witches night.

and of course…
