Near Americus Georgia stands the remains of the former Confederate Prisoner Of War camp and stockade. Most people even American’s don’t know that over 13,000 men died there during the prisons brief history.

In the above photo is one of the actual prisoners who was liberated by Union Forces near the end of the American Civil War. Its hard for many people to even accept that something like this went on in America.

Over the many years since the end of the war between the states many people who have visited Andersonville Prison have reported seeing ghosts and other paranormal activity.
