Many issues of national importance to Japan, probably including the state of the Fukushima power plant, may be designated state secrets under a new draft law. Once signed, it could see whistleblowers jailed for up to 10 years.
Don’t you love the way these guys try in every way, to silence the whistle blowers? Now, it appears they will make it a crime to report what is happening at Fukushima! Way to go! Nothing to see here, please keep moving!
I have been monitoring the situation at the crippled Fukushima planet on a regular basis and I am more than alarmed at what the scenario may look like down the road, when they begin to remove the fuel rods in November. So here’s what Here’s what Yale Professor Charles Perrow (who, just to be clear, is a professor of sociology — not nuclear physics) has to say about the matter:
[...] Much more serious is the danger that the spent fuel rod pool at the top of the nuclear plant number four will collapse in a storm or an earthquake, or in a failed attempt to carefully remove each of the 1,535 rods and safely transport them to the common storage pool 50 meters away. Conditions in the unit 4 pool, 100 feet from the ground, are perilous, and if any two of the rods touch it could cause a nuclear reaction that would be uncontrollable. The radiation emitted from all these rods, if they are not continually cool and kept separate, would require the evacuation of surrounding areas including Tokyo. Because of the radiation at the site the 6,375 rods in the common storage pool could not be continuously cooled; they would fission and all of humanity will be threatened, for thousands of years. [...]
So essentially the Japanese are about to engage in what could be a very, deadly game of “pick-up-sticks.” Yet, our news media, for the most part, doesn’t cover this situation at all. As I have stated before, the world should be involved in this clean up and not just the Japanese. There are reports of radiation levels increasing on the west coast of California and Richard Shaw and I are going to take samples of the water from Santa Monica to Santa Barbara and have them tested. If there’s a spike in radiation levels the American people have a right to know.

The world has a right to know what is happening at Fukushima, as the problems there, are not going to go away. The Guidebook to the Supernatural i.e. The Bible, informs us in the last days, there will be troublesome times. Well guess what, in my opinion, Fukushima sets the bar for Troublesome Times!
