Going to take a break from Texas today to explore one of the better international mass UFO sightings of late (though these are happening around the clock and are literally impossible to keep up with).
According to the Okinawa Times and YouTube videos and photos to hit the web, Japanese residents of Naha witnessed a collection of strange lights changing formations and hovering in the night sky for several minutes. They were accompanied by a meteor or falling star, which may or may not have been related. In YouTube videos, the lights almost appear to talk to each other and interact. They are definitely not conventional air crafts or Chinese lanterns.
Japan – like many Asian and even South American countries – is no stranger to incredible mass UFO sightings, which do not happen or get reported on as frequently in the US.
At first, the event was reported as a mass UFO sighting, but since then the Okinawa Times has perhaps(?) backpedaled a bit and “debunked” it as military flares. Not sure I buy that explanation, or even understand it… you can read the translated news story below.
Watch the video and read the “official” explanation, as well as theories from others who saw these UFOs:

[translated] Low altitude, right?
Wonder if there is a mountain?
Someone such as a light in the mountains? - xreypapa[translated] As experts say, this would be a tracer of the U.S. military certainly – ピグレットティガー
[translated] I also took a picture from the new downtown area.
When I was surprised to reverse because there is no person who though stood out so much, it was taken very much, and I see the video of this place and you’re going to cooperate in providing information, I also two videos UP on youtube in a hurry I tried to.
I I had also become in a row @ @ This is the form that I also missed.
After, how to change to multi-color did not look at all angles, photographed by me. – Ash torino
