(Before It's News)

Marie Laveau was the greatest Voodoo Priestess who ever lived in New Orleans. There is even a local legend that she had herself turned into a vampire so she could walk through the centuries and that she is still alive today. I can’t say for sure but not a lot is known about the Voodoo Priestess.

The Tomb Of Marie Laveau

Above is the reported tomb of Marie Laveau. It is said if you make three X’s on her tomb that it will bring you luck. You can see where people have made their three X’s. Other people leave gifts, candles, and other offerings to the Voodoo Queen. Many people have reported seeing her setting on the ground in front of the tomb or up in the air over it. The New Orleans cemeteries are dangerous at night so if you go be sure to go in a group.

Watch the above video and you will see the final reported resting place of the Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau. But some locals will tell you that Marie Laveau became a vampire and that she is still walking the French Quarter today. No one really knows. Especially if you believe in Black Magic, and things that go bump in the night.
