That same night, guards at the base witness a strange hairy being near the guardhouse and it seemed to jump or bob up and down. It had large red eyes and hopped across a hedge near the base and the four guards then saw a silvery disc-shaped object fly off into the sky and out of sight. (The matter was hushed up according to the source).

Mr. Ron Foreman heard a loud noise outside followed by a “whoosh”; the television cut out and the room lights went dim. He opened the back door and found a 7-foot tall “creature” standing there, in a silvery suit with transparent helmet. It “glided” away over a fence, but later returned with a 2nd entity surrounded by a haze of light. Foreman went for the police.

The witnesses were Steven Gilbert, Steven Broadhurst, Carl Edgington, Mark Harrison and Trevor Betley who had gone for a walk in the wood with his girlfriend. All of the sudden Trevor and his girlfriend came rushing out of the woods, screaming, stumbling over the ditch, followed by a luminous shape, which stopped in mid-air and slowly drifted back into the woods. The others stood there undecided what to do and shocked by what they had just witnessed. Terrified they watched as whatever it was came back out of the wood and moved over to the nearby bench, appearing to sit down. Steven’s impression of this luminous mass was that it resembled a small girl in shape, with long white hair, although he didn’t see any legs or facial features. Steven Broadhurst pointed at this luminous mass and urged his dog, Tim, to confront it. Tim rushed over towards it—stopped, came running back—and urinated all over Steven’s leg. The dog was terrified. They all stood shouting at it but were far too frightened to go up to it. Slowly, it moved back into the wood.
