For 12 hours, all crime is legal. That’s The Purge, and I loved the idea as a horror movie but I can’t think of anything more horrible in real life.
Count me Freaked Out by the fliers appearing in Louisville, KY, advertising a Real Life Purge.

The image went viral on social media, and while this one has been exposed as a teen prank, WLKY confirms there’s been more Purge threats:
Not only is the talk of a purge, or purge nights going on in Louisville, it’s happening in other cities like Detroit, Kansas City, Miami and Cleveland.
The Purge is a fun movie – let’s keep it fictional.
Thank God, nobody has been hurt, but a public football game was postponed, and local PD and even the FBI have been alerted.
Let’s hope these ‘Purge threats’ are just idiots being idiots.
