Christians Hunted Down as al-Shabab Kill 147 in Kenya

“If you were a Christian you were shot on the spot. With each blast of the gun I thought I was going to die.”
At least 147 people have been killed and 79 wounded in the Thursday’s attack on a Kenya university, according to the Kenya National Disaster Operation Centre. The centre says security forces have rescued more than 500 students from the Garissa University College campus but fighting is still going on.

It comes as no surprise to me that this story has been downplayed in the US media. While it was reported by CNN, USA Today, and Time, for the most part it’s already left the 12 hour news cycle. The take-a-war for me is this. The killings of Christians were carried out by Al Shabab. Who are terrorists… or are they? In other words we are told that atrocities like this most recent one in Kenya is not the true face of Islam. Yet, over and over again the same scenario occurs, Christians and others who embrace a religion other than Islam are slaughtered for their belief.
In Iraq and Syria, ISIL killing Christians and burning churches:
Egyptians are killing Christians and burning churches.

In Pakistan Muslims bombed churches and killed Christians.
In Kentucky churches are being turned into Mosques.
“On a trip to England a few years ago, I recall seeing dozens of churches that had become mosques and wondering how it could happen there; now it’s happening here,” said Paul Chitwood, executive director of the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
In closing todays post. There is a persecution of Christians in countries where the majority of the population is Muslim. In the USA Muslims are still a minority.
