After studying the red planet for decades, scientists admit that there is a great possibility that an impact of a asteroid or comet altered the faith of the Red Planet, compared to Earth, Mars is full of impact craters but that isn’t that strange since Mars has a very uncomfortable position in our solar System, right next to the Asteroid belt. due to this, Mars is constantly being bombarded by asteroids, unlike Earth Mars does not have a bigger moon to shield it against incoming asteroids.
Looking back in history we know that the Earth has been impacted in the past by large space rock and some of those impacts have possibly changed the history of our planet. One of the best examples we know of, is the Chicxulub impact crater located in the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico (see image above) which some scientists believe to have been the number one reason for the extinction of the Dinosaurs.
So if this happened here on Earth, would something similar be possible on Mars? On the red planet we find a very interesting impact crater located in the Lyot region, and it is approx. 125 miles in diameter. The area of this impact crater tells us just how powerful the impact was and it could have been one of the main causes why Mars today is just a “desert”. This comet strike may have caused a profound disruption to Mars’ planetary system. It would have been an absolutely devastating planet climate-changing event. So is it possible that long before losing its atmosphere, Mars sustained life? Even civilizations that once called the red planet “home”? If so, where did the Martian’s go? did they survive? Did they escape before these cataclysmic events? And is Mars connected in any way to Earth? These are just some of the questions that desperately want to be answered.
On July 20, 1976 after a ten-month journey from Earth, Viking I reached its destination, the red planet. The images that Viking I sent back to Earth were amazing, and some of them showed that Mars was not that different from Earth. Some regions on Mars resemble places on Earth, like the Death Valley. Where the story about Viking I gets interesting is after it performed several tests in search for life on the red planet. Viking I returned controversial results. Dr. Gil Levin designed one of the tests that the Viking probe performed, a relatively “simple” test. He explained that Microorganisms breathe just like you or I or anything else, and then they give off carbon dioxide. What NASA did is, they took a small sample of Martian soil, placed it inside a small container and this container was monitored for a week for signs of “bubbles” inside of the tube, and after seven days, the unexpected happened. The test for life on Mars was positive by criteria accepted by NASA as “bubbles” were registered inside the Viking I container. While this test returned positive for life, other tests with different criteria came up negative. NASA were very cautious in this matter and opted to say: “There is no proof of life on Mars“.
Some scientists suggest that Mars may have had an atmosphere similar to Earth’s atmosphere, and it got annihilated about 65 million years ago. Adding to this suggestion, ideas have formed in the past which tell the possibility that the civilization that once inhabited Mars, fled to Earth in search for refugee. So does this make us the “Martians” we have desperately tried to find? Some scientists say they’ve found powerful evidence of lost civilizations on the red planet and in fact, they believe they may have discovered a nuclear signature in the Martian atmosphere that matches Earth’s after a nuclear test. According to scientists there are very large traces of Xenon-129 on Mars and the only process that we know that produces Xenon-129 is a nuclear explosion. Is this just another coincidence that shows how similar Mars is to Earth? Or does it provide evidence that Mars was very different in the past?

Thanks Jeffery, very interesting. It is hard to believe there is no life in this infinite universe somewhere out there. I do not think we are the only game in town, it only makes sense life exists and it is brimming within this amazing universe. Perhaps it has all been hidden from us for so long, most do not think about it. A lot of history has been altered for sure, good to know some people are working in this area finding the evidence(s) needed to come to a conclusion.
There are billions of other planets, obviously we are not alone, we have just been lied to in order to make it seem that way. We have been lied to about everything.
I believe Richard C. Hoagland’s theory is the most plausible. Iapetus,fourth largest moon of Saturn, is a “Tesla Weapon,’ comparable to the “Death Star” in “Star Wars”. The weapon either accidentally or deliberately discharged, destroying the planet whose remains make up the asteroid belt. The explosive force was so massive, it destroyed civilizations on Mars and the Moon. Interestingly, one of the first references to Satan in the Bible concern a “war in the heavens”; and “Satan” is a derivation of “Saturn”.
Mars suffered incredible trauma when planet Marduk was blown to smithereens. The debris field from the explosion, hit Mars and ripped off it’s atmosphere. One side of Mars is 13 kilometers thicker than the other due to the massive amount of debris. The same debris field also hit Saturn’s moon Iapetus and that is why one side of the moon is black and the other side white.
Mars is being regenerated today by the mixed human/reptilian populace. Generators are forcing the water in the soil into the atmosphere and Mars is becoming more hospitable. The atmospheric oxygen level is 18% and humans there have adjusted. Earth has nothing to fear from Mars and that will not change.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, everything that NASA puts out is 100% lies. They never tell the truth. Earth is going through a transition that will last a long time but the biggest century of change is the one starting Dec. 21, 2012. TPTB will be seen ever increasingly in their death throes. The date Dec. 21, 2012 is the most important date in Earth’s 4.5 billion year history because that is when it joined the civilized universe. Many of us came for the show and we are not being disappointed; much more to come.

This question Exist by the same problem in the question of Global Warming, you start out with People Living in there Mothers Basement at 40, with no Job, they think up Little Scams Hoping they Will Take Off, Hoping to gain Money and Attention, if it works, they do well and never have to do any real work and can Move out of Mothers Basement.
On why Mars doesn’t have Life and Maybe never did, the answer is simple, it’s a Very Little Place that Lost It’s Atmosphere Because It’s A Very Little Place, Really It’s Not Hard To Understand, to have a Scam, or Questions on this you have to not Know, or you Just have to Ignore the Obvious, It’s To Little To Hold An Atmosphere..
On Global Warming, to get anywhere on that Issue you simply have to Ignore the Last 100, Thousand Years, (((I’m setting in Seward Alaska Right Now))), some 100, Thousand years ago I would have some 7, Miles Of Ice On Top Of Me, I don’t today, (BECAUSE GEE IT MELTED), for the Very Stupid, When Ice Begins To Melt Do To The Sun Getting Hotter, It Does Not Stop until It’s Gone, 99.9 Percent of the Worlds Ice Melted Away Before People Made Enough Fires To Do Any Thing, Today We People Create Less Heat, Less Green House Gas, than One Volcano Going Off, the Amount Of Natural Gas Seeping Naturally From The Earth, Natural Forest Fires, OR THE BUG FARTS ON THE NORTH SLOP.

I forgot to add something before to this story, to my commits, that I have come to believe explains why we never get Visitors from other worlds and in fact why we can not actually fix anything in this world.
I believe that long ago some Aliens did Visit this Planet, (BUT DO TO THEIR EXPERANCE HERE), when thy left they left some big signs in space around this Planet, (Big Warning Signs Saying Danger, This Planet Makes You Stupid).

Does it really matter what any scientist “THINKS” We have words that were wrote tens of thousands of years ago that says, Mars was a beautiful planet with lots of life. It lost its atmosphere when a rogue planet came too close. So lets all be stupid and deny that. We’ll just agree that scientist’s “MAY” be onto something. DOH!!! When the hell are we ever going to stop and look at our REAL history. LOOK! READ! THINK! Fallen angels? Ring any bells? They came here nearly 500,000 years ago, or more. They manipulated man. They genetically designed us. Anunnaki. Its very real alright. There is life on our Moon, on Mars, on Ceres, on Venus and more. I think it totally hilarious. Many look to the stars wondering if there’s life out there. Their already here watching us. They’ve been around much longer than us too.
