RIP Angus Scrimm: Tall Man – “Phantasm”

Angus Scrimm was known for a lot of roles as an actor, but none so strongly loved and feared as the “Tall Man” in the cult favorite horror movie, “Phantasm.”
Sadly, Angus passed away peacefully with his family around him on January 9, 2016 at the age of 89.
In 1979, with the single word “Boy!” Angus brought the Tall Man to horrifying reality for all of our future nightmares.
Angus had a healthy career as an actor, playing in lots of movies, specials and popular TV shows in a variety of roles, but to those of us who love horror and believe “Phantasm” is a classic among them, we will always remember him, something like this -
Rest in peace, Angus, life well lived!
