Portal to hell? It seems that you don’t know what the scriptures say about hell. Hell is THE COMMON GRAVE OF MANKIND. No hell of fiery torment exists. That is a FICTION told by FALSE RELIGIONS. You know the ones, the COUNTERFEIT COPIES of the original Christianity taught by Jesus in the first century. Those copies are false religion according to Jesus. He actually said he hates them. He called them Babylon the Great. So no “portal” to the graves of man exists.
Personally, I’m not postulating whether hell exists or not; I’m agnostic. That being said, there are several verses in the bible where Jesus describes hell as being a fiery place of torment, so what you are saying is false. Here are a couple:
Matthew 13:41-42, 49-50 “The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Mark 9:43, 48-49 “And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire…where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ For everyone will be salted with fire.”

You postulated that the scriptures support a hell of fiery torment. Nowhere dies it do that. Sure, you can read it in any of the 38 false translations of God’s inspired word, but they’re falsely translated. Having looked at all the scriptures where the KJV supports it, the original texts use no such words. Fiery furnace is not hell, it’s a metaphor for destruction, like Gehenna is a metaphor for destruction. Hell refers ONLY to common grave of mankind. The Mark quotes are mistranslated. 9:43 refers to GEHENNA, the valley of Hinnom just outside Jerusalem. It was a burning trash dump where sulphur was constantly used to keep the fire burning, so that everything, including executed criminals, animals used for sacrifice, etc., would be completely consumed by the fire. It’s a METAPHOR, a figure of speech. It’s also called the lake of fire, again referring to Gehenna, again metaphorically referring to TOTAL DESTRUCTION, not permanent torture in a non-existent hell fire.
So, no, Morgana, what I’ve stated is not false at all. It’s your Bible that is falsely translated, and your understanding of it that is not correct. No hell of fiery torment exists. God also said He does not try anyone with evil, and torturing anyone is evil. The Scriptures also teach that we have NO immortal soul that could be sent to hell, or to heaven for that matter. The hell fire belief, along with the immortal soul belief, comes STRAIGHT out of the pagan religionis of Babylon the Great.

He was describing a huge, burning garbage-pit that lay outside the city which burned night and day….Gehenna. It was considered an accursed place, being also the site where apostate Israelites and followers of various Ba’als and other Canaanite gods, including Moloch (or Molech), sacrificed their children by fire. After those times, it became simply a garbage dump and a pyre for the bodies of dead enemies, people who died from disease, and people considered to be unclean spiritually who had died. Jesus made reference to this DUMP whenever he (as an allegory) mentions “hell”……The flame never died because the dump was kept burning 24/7…..it was filled with maggots in the places that weren’t totally flaming (“their worm does not die”), etc., etc.
Please don’t ask me to prove this with links. Anyone who really is interested can use a Concordance or lexicon (and a Bible) to arrive at this fact.
