On March 8 asteroid TX 68, a 30-metre long lump of space rock, is due to whistle past Earth as close as 19,000 miles away. But some are not convinced it will miss us amid fears we won’t be able to see it because it will be obscured by the sun.

2012 & Y2K – I’m just going to post these 2 things on EVERY article that claims the world is going to end.
Of course you are. That’s the whole idea of posting the articles. It’s a straw-man kind of thing.
Movies –2012 and every other one, ever– are not real. Scoffing at them is kind of ridiculous. They’re not true. 20th century Unix issues have nothing to do with the modern world. Calendars carved into rocks by the Mayans are subject to (mis)interpretation. People said this at the time.
I’m sorry if you cannot separate real dangers from imaginary ones. I’m sorry if you cannot imagine the world as you know it ending. Because nothing is forever.
But how do you NOT see that ALL of these things are just speculation and paranoia??? If the end is near – fine so be it. I won’t see it when it’s actually happening – because honestly if you get your ACTUAL news from this site – well I’m assuming you have an aluminum hat on in your closet with your tv and laptop. This site is pure crazy entertainment. No the government and other news stations don’t tell us anything – but where to these nut bags get their info?? The alien in their toilet? I should have looked at the calendar. The “freak supermoon” is a new moon. And so not bright at all.
