The other day I went out for my morning run—I’m up to almost 6 miles now!—and as I was running I was thinking about the fact that Jesus never sinned… not once! I compared this astonishing fact to my own life, realizing that I sin throughout the day in a variety of ways. Oh, and by the way so do you! LOL
Think about it for a moment. Someone cuts you off on the freeway. A mechanic charges you double from what his estimate was. Your wife accidentally backs into your car in the driveway, so now there’s two cars with dents not just one! Your child talks back to you. A secretary at work dresses provocatively causing you to have lustful thoughts—there’s a novelty! LOL! You see someone you still hold a grudge against after a decade of trying to forgive them. The list is endless and I could spend thousands of words listing all of the things we humans do, which the Bible tell us is sin.
Then we compare all of our faults, shortcomings, and sin to Jesus life and we realize that He never sinned, not once, not ever. Incredible. How did He do it? Some of you will say when Jesus drove out the Moneychangers from the Temple that was sin. Not so fast Citizen! There is righteous anger which is not sin and this is what Jesus was operating under.
Jesus mission, His overreaching goal in life was to act as a sacrifice for the sin of all mankind, from Adam to the distant future when He will return. He accomplished this when He gave His life for everyone at Calvary. No one took His life from Him, He laid it down by His own will.
1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours alone, but also for the sins of the whole world. By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments.… 1 John 2:2
If we are honest, this entire affair is a great mystery. However, Jesus atoning sacrifice is rooted in the Biblical Prophetic Narrative, which states in Genesis 3: 15:
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
This is the first prophecy of the promise of Messiah. This statement sets up rest of The Cosmic Chess match, the rest of the narrative that we find in our Bibles, the one who will crush the serpent’s head.
To do this, He had to be without sin and this is why He is called The Lamb of God. Jesus is the SACRIFICIAL Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
In closing the BUN. We will all die in our sins unless we come to the one who has the power over sin. The one who can set us free. The Messiah, Jesus.
If you think you know Him but you don’t know Him, then you don’t know him. He loves you and gave His life for you, and me and every person on this planet. He is the way the truth and the life. He is going to return soon and set up His kingdom! Maranatha!

FYI:
Jesus was incapable of sinning because he was born without Original Sin (the sin of Adam and Eve)
Jesus’ Mother was also born without Original Sin and therefore incapable of sinning.
