(Before It's News)

A mysterious giant squid was supposedly found and caught on tape on a beach in California. If real, the gigantic squid would be an incredible 48 meters long and the largest giant squid ever found by humans. Several online websites have reported that the squid was found in the waters near the Fukushima nuclear power planet.

Today we take a look at an image that claims to show a mysterious giant squid that washed up on a beach in California.

By the photo itself, we can tell that the squid would be a whopping 48 meters long. If this photo is real, that would mean that this would be the largest squid ever found by humans. A news report online said that the squid came from the waters near the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

We at ApexTV have researched the image and found that it is actually fake. The squid in the photograph was actually photoshopped from another picture of a squid found on a beach in Spain. The real squid was only nine meters long. That picture was then enlarged and photoshopped into the beach.

Even though this photo was faked, that is not to say that mysterious creatures don’t exist within the ocean. The oceans of this planet are some of the most mysterious places on Earth. They reach depths of up to thirty thousand feet and modern science has only discovered one third of all oceanic species.
