Politics, Prophecy & the Supernatural Sunday Bun! by L. A. Marzulli The Salvation Message?
Recently someone contacted me and stated that someone in their church was wondering why the focus on the Nephilim, UFOs and other supernatural events that are taking place all over our blue-ball-of-a-planet. They went on saying that the discussion of such subjects do not contain a salvation message.
You know what? They’re right. The discussion of UFOs and Nephilim and other seemingly non-related Biblical topics are not directly tied into a salvation message. However, I’ve used my work to point back to the cross as is demonstrated in THE COSMIC CHESS MATCH and the countless interviews I have done.
The writer of Hebrews admonishes us when he states this in chapter 6:1
New International Version
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,
New Living Translation
So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.
King James Bible
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
In other words the discussion about UFOs and/or Nephilim are not to be confused with the basic, elementary teachings about humankind’s depravity and our need for a Savior, which of course, leads us to Jesus.
The purpose of discussing UFOs, the Nephilim and other modern-day supernatural events is this. We read in Genesis 3:15 there is going to be a seed war. Specifically the seed of the serpent will be at war with the seed of the woman.
We know the seed of the woman eventually manifests in the birth of Messiah. The seed of the serpent manifests in the Nephlim only 3 chapters later. We also know that the Anti-Christ will be the Son of Perdition. Does this statement denote that this dark figure will be the actual seed of the serpent himself? In other words the literal offspring of Satan?
I would posit to you that we are about to enter into a time in history that is unprecedented. The believe in UFO’s and that the human race was seeded here by extraterrestrials has in some places, usurped the Biblical prophetic narrative. In other words more people believe in ET than the Bible.
We are constantly introduced to a steady flow of books and movies that have an “alien” theme. Chuck Missler has stated that he believes the Anti Christ may boast of an alien connection.
I have come to call this burgeoning phenomena The Coming Great Deception. So unless we discuss what is manifesting we are not part of the conversation. Unless the church engages in this discussion headlong, many people will believe the lie, and will be deceived.
In closing todays Bun: It is important to remember Paul’s admonishment in Ephesians 6, to put on the armor of God on a daily basis. As we mature in Christ we put on our armor and engage in the war that is all around us. We fight the good fight. We expose the works of the devil. We point out the deception which is coming upon the whole earth.
