A setlement has been reached in a civiil rights lawsuit against an Anderson,, CA police departmentt.

A settlement has been reached in a 2011 federal lawsuit filed against the city of Anderson by a Millville woman who said she was sexually assaulted in 2010 by an Anderson police officer transporting her to jail following a DUI arrest.
According to documents filed in U.S. District Court in Sacramento, the settlement was reached last month after a nine-hour-long session with a mediator.
