President Obama said Monday that NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was “exercising his constitutional right” to bring attention to racial injustice by not taking part in the national anthem at the start of San Francisco 49ers football games.
This may be the only time in nearly 8 years that I agree with Obama on anything.

They have the right not to, but lets not allow them a forum to express that which is not tempered with some logic, patience and understanding. If we allow the ignorant to speak in forums they deserve not without this, we slide into total destruction.

Yes they should. They are part of a team, a cohesive unit. Their uniforms are the same, their helmets are the same. They get paid by the same people who if they werent there, their is No NFL. The people in the stands stand and so should everyone else. Including little pouty tattoo Boy.
The national anthem or the flag does not and never will define us as people , individually or as a nation, rather it is what we do by our actions that defines us.America you have been defined by your actions the world over , and you have fallen well short, you have been weighed and measured and have failed , even now you are sliding into the abyss.You have gone the way of all ruling empires of the past and because of your actions , like them , you shall cease to exsist like them.
