There are over 21 million Vets and another 18 million talented hunters in the US that can out shoot most foreign/domestic military snipers (Remington 700 can”t reach out and touch like a BMG .50). Just as our patriotic Minutemen history against the British light military. They were well armed, trained and prepared at moment’s notice for any foreign invitation to slaughter the British or French on behalf of America’s Freedom. In this case… I know American military snipers would stand down against any American civilian altercations. As far as the U.N., Their blue helmets made great targets.
Ordinary people don’t have the “kill a human” instinct of the sniper, sop you can’t rely on the hunter to become sniper; retired vets are another matter, they were trained to kill other humans. But remember, using a firearm accurately requires practice, good health and a flexible/adaptive mind. So, forget three quarters of your target population, they are not up to the task.
The brass and bureaucrats can write all the manuals with 5-levels that they want. That doesn’t mean that the privates behind the rifles are going to follow them or even care about them. They will use common sense.
I remember well my college years, late 60′s and early 70′s. Kent state era. From time to time national guardsmen with loaded rifles every few yards lining the streets on my campus. Curfews. Heck, I used to ride my motorcycle down the alleys at night and as I approached a street, turn off the engine and lights and shoot across. Beer runs, after all. Must have our priorities. And they weren’t going to shoot me. They WERE me.

To get permission to protest, is to not protest. But to SUBMIT an application to be servile according to the masters whims.
