Husky Energy Spills 16,000 Litres of Produced water near Lloydminster from a tanker truck

On Apr 1, 2014, A tanker truck had been contracted to haul produced water, a valve failure releasing 16,000 Litres of Produced fluid down a highway and into the ditch 30Km South West of Lloydminster, Alberta.A portion of the spill impacted an ice covered slough adjacent to the highway. Free fluids have been removed and clean up is underway. “No fish or wildlife impacts have been reported”
