The personal diary of Guantanamo Bay detainee Mohamedou Ould Slahi has finally been released to the public, providing a firsthand perspective of life inside the world’s most infamous prison. Held without charge since 2002 and cleared for release in 2010, Slahi remains incarcerated in the facility that human rights activists and the inmate himself allege is filled with abuse, torture and other atrocities.
