Ala chief justice tells judges: Refuse gay marriage licenses | 9 Feb 2015 | In 2003, Alabama's chief justice [sic] Roy Moore was forced from the bench for disobeying a federal court order to remove a boulder-size Ten Commandments monument from the state courthouse. On Monday, as Alabama became the 37th state where gays can legally wed, Moore took a defiant stand again, employing the kind of states' rights language used during the Civil War era and again during the civil rights movement. He argued that a federal judge's Jan. 23 ruling striking down the Bible Belt state's gay-marriage ban was an illegal intrusion on Alabama's sovereignty.
Was listening to the “Patriot” news channel on XM Satellite Radio yesterday, and some guy with the last name of Levin was on ranting and raving. He was talking about “freedom for all”. According to his way of thinking, humanity should be able to have the freedom to live any way they choose to live. Now, by this, he infers that all human beings should have the “civil” right to do their own carnal will. So, according to this way of thinking, humans should be able to do whatever they want to do to themselves, and with others of like mind. Well, the thing about this point of view is it only applies to those who think this way, and not to those who disagree with his and others who hold to this human point of view. Certainly, the God of the Holy Bible would disagree with Mr. Levin and those who hold to this purely human point of view. Certainly, Jesus did not hold to this point of view. Certainly, the apostles did not hold to this human point of view. Certainly, those who acknowledged Jesus as The Christ, those “born anew”, those labled by the antichrist Jewish leadership and the pagan Romans as “Christians” long ago, did not hold to this purely human point of view. Today, those who hold to this human point of view are still around, reviling and hating the Creator of All, the Father of Jesus, The Christ, and anyone who does not hold to their human point of view.
