(Before It's News)

Clinton aides did not actually read the emails they reviewed . . . Hillary Clinton commissioned a review of the 62,320 messages in her account only after the department—spurred by the congressional investigation—asked her to do so. And this review did not involve opening and reading each email; instead, Clinton’s lawyers created a list of names and keywords related to her work and searched for those. Slightly more than half the total cache—31,830 emails—did not contain any of the search terms, according to Clinton’s staff, so they were deemed to be “private, personal records.” The Atlantic

Illegal immigrant? Vicious criminal? Okay, you can stay . . . Federal agents in a sweep targeting the most dangerous criminal immigrants arrested 15 people who have been allowed to remain in the U.S. under President Barack Obama’s executive action intended to protect children who came to the U.S. years ago with their parents, The Associated Press has learned. Fox News

Cloud hangs over Obama visit to Phoenix VA . . . When President Obama travels Friday to Ground Zero in the Veterans Affairs hospital scandal, the commander in chief will encounter overwhelming skepticism about his ability to fix what whistleblowers call a culture of corruption that continues despite White House pledges to eradicate it. A staffer at the hospital says retaliation against internal critics is going on even after Obama replaced his top Veterans Affairs official in 2014. Washington Examiner

Univision host fired for comparing Michelle to an ape . . .  Rodner Figueroa, an Emmy Award-winning host and presenter, was fired by the Spanish-language network for remarks he made on-air Wednesday. Figueroa said, “Michelle Obama looks like she’s part of the cast of ‘Planet of the Apes.’” Figueroa asserted in a statement released Thursday that Univision was contacted by the first lady’s office. A Univision executive denied that the White House called to complain. CNN Money

ValJar to turn out the lights . . . Valerie Jarrett says she plans on staying in the White House until the end of President Barack Obama’s term. Politico

Latest Secret Service incident a problem for Obama . . . A Secret Service agent allegedly involved in a driving accident after drinking said last year that the agency had a “zero tolerance” policy toward alcohol misuse and misconduct. George Ogilvie, a senior agent in the Washington Field Office, and agent Mark Connolly allegedly ran through police tape and hit a barrier. Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy now faces a barrage of criticism and calls for swift, aggressive action. Washington Examiner

Hackers find holes in Clinton server . . .  IT bloggers, and systems analysts have trained their specialized talents and state-of-the-art software on the domain under which Clinton established multiple private email accounts, and uncovered serious lapses in security, according to data shared with Fox News.

Source: Clinton paid out of his pocket for the server . . . A Democratic source familiar with the arrangement tells Fox News that Bill Clinton paid out of his own pocket for the email server that was used by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. This claim is significant because various Republicans have been pressing for answers about whether taxpayers own the server and deserve access to it. Fox News

Well, it’s one source. And possibly someone lying on behalf of Bill, which, um, has happened before. Anyone in a position to know this has to be a Clinton hack. Nevertheless, Ed Henry, who wrote the piece, is a good reporter, so we’ll see.
