A senior Iranian commander has warned Saudi Arabia against the repercussions of its invasion of Yemen. Commander of the Army’s Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan described the Saudi military as QUOTE a mercenary army and said the aggression against Yemen may cause the unrest to spill over into Saudi Arabia. He also pointed to the Iranian army’s preparedness to counter threats posed by terrorist groups and gave assurances that Iran’s borders are well-protected.
