(Before It's News)

Megan, our newest Communications Intern

Megan Megan Franco is the spring 2015 Communications Intern at Council for a Livable World and the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, where her duties include digital outreach, blogging, and web content and social media management. Previously, Megan was an intern at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., where she worked on a range of issues from Syrian Kurds to analysis of the United States’ Global War on Terror. Through this research she became interested in the intersection of strategic communications and national security. Megan is excited to apply her already vast knowledge on issues of national security, as well as learning more about arms control and nuclear weapons policies. She is looking forward to growing her skills in communications, especially with social media, and helping the Council and Center help make the world a safer place.

Aman, our newest Policy Intern

Aman Aman Shareef is an intern for the Center for Arms Control and Non Proliferation. Aman has worked at UN Women, law firms, and was a research assistant for Professor Ruti Teitel, working on Transitional Justice issues. Most recently, Aman was at the Convergence Center for Policy Resolution, here in D.C., where he worked on U.S.-Pakistan civil society relations.
