On April 17 the intensity of the fighting decreased slightly in Novorossia. But there are still hot spots remaining in the suburbs of Donetsk and area of the numbered checkpoints on the road Bakhmutka. Also western outskirts of Gorlovka were under fire of the Ukrainian security forces on April 17.
