Donetsk People’s Republic has more volunteers than it has weapons to arm them, the head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko says.
“At the moment, the number of volunteers is greater than our ability to arm them. People see what happens, they make a realistic assessment of the situation, and they understand that Kiev wants to press forward with war. They want to protect their homeland. Volunteers started being mobilized in the DPR on February 9. In mid-March, up to 200 volunteers have been joining the ranks of Donetsk Armed forces every day.
