The ongoing Saudi airstrikes against Yemen have forced thousands of people to seek refuge in the Horn of African region. The refugees describe the Saudi aggression against Yemen as terrifying. Nearly 350 Yemeni refugees arrived at the UN camp in the town of Obock Djibouti on Thursday.

The camp is a temporary transit point and they will soon be transferred to newly erected refugee camps in northern Djibouti. The UN says it’s providing basic assistance for the refugees, with humanitarian agencies expecting tens of thousands more to flee Yemen in the coming months. The humanitarian situation in Yemen is rapidly deteriorating. Many international aid organizations have sought clearances to dispatch medical and other humanitarian supplies by air and sea to civilians who are in dire need of relief aid.
