These islands are hundreds of miles off of the Chinese coast in international waters. Frankly, they are masterful feats of engineering. Dredges are used to pull sand from the ocean floor 24/7 and the sand is ‘piled up’ to make the islands. Amazing. In two years time…..the islands have grown by 400 times the size.
It seems that China has taken a page from Russias play book and decided to ‘annex’ part of the ocean.
