Court won't reveal money details of CIA torture program | 14 May 2015 | A federal judge has rejected a reporter's lawsuit seeking to reveal more financial details about the CIA's detention and interrogation program for terror suspects. U.S. District Court James Boasberg ruled Thursday that the spy agency had the right to keep the information classified as intelligence “sources and methods,” even though many other details of the controversial program were made public in December in the executive summary of a Senate Intelligence Committee report. Boasberg said disparate treatment of the details was evidence of the rigor of the decision-making on what to make public and what needed to be withheld.
