NH Senate committee signs off on $11.3 billion state budget

The Senate Finance Committee on Thursday approved an $11.3 billion budget that has left Republicans and Democrats sharply divided.

The two-year spending plan restores many cuts proposed by the House, but Gov. Maggie Hassan was critical of the budget, especially its lack of money for Medicaid expansion.
