Sheriff Joe Arpaio Files Motion to Disqualify Judge Snow, Complete Motion Here

Two days ago AUN-TV revealed that Federal Judge Murray Snow was targeting Sheriff Joe Arpaio in court as the Judge, despite the fact that both Judge Snow and his wife Cheri Snow have a conflict of interest with Arpaio. Cheri Snow announced to Dale, Karen, and Scott Grissom at Sonneburro’s restaurant in Tempe, Arizona that her husband (Judge Snow) hates Arpaio and “will do anything to get Arpaio out of office.” http://aun-tv.com/2015/05/strange-tale-of-a-federal-judge-targeting-sheriff-arpaio-despite-his-and-wifes-conflict-of-interest/
Now Sheriff Arpaio is bringing that matter to the attention of the Court, he has filed a motion to Disqualify Judge Snow based on Snow’s conflict of interest.

1. 28 U.S.C. § 455(b)(5) Requires Disqualification of Judge Snow
Due to Spousal Relationship.
Under 28 U.S.C. § 455(b)(5), a judge shall disqualify himself in the
following circumstances:
(5) He or his spouse, or a person within the third degree of
relationship to either of them, or the spouse of such a person:
…
(ii) Is acting as a lawyer in the proceeding;
(iii) Is known by the judge to have an interest that could be
substantially affected by the outcome of the proceeding; or
(iv) Is to the judge’s knowledge likely to be a material
witness in the proceeding;
