Bix Weir says I’m feeling a little philosophical about our situation these days and this has to be one of my all time quotes about the Roads we Choose…
There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.
William Shakespeare – (Julius Caesar: Act 4, Scene 3)
I know just how scary the future looks but if you are smart and aware you will ride the tide and embrace what life throws at us. Don’t be “bound in the shallows and in miseries.” Embrace the change and understand it is at these moments of change that the Meaning of Life can best be experienced.
May the Road you choose be the Right Road.
