▶ Putin extends West food ban in retaliation against sanction – YouTube
Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended the ban on food imports
from the West by one year. This is in retaliation for the extension of
European sanctions against Moscow over the Ukraine crisis.
Putin says
he has signed the necessary decree. The ban prohibits most food imports
from the United States, the European Union, Australia, Canada and
Norway. It was expected to be prolonged for six months starting from
early August after the European Union extended sanctions this week. The
EU accuses Russia of interfering in Ukraine by sending troops to the
conflict zone. Moscow denies the allegations. Violence in eastern
Ukraine has claimed 65-hundred lives since March 2014.
