Good morning! In the news today: Hillary doesn’t appear to have released all her Benghazi emails; Obama bans trans fats; Reagan carried as president; Nixon drank as president; trade vote postponed, likely beyond this week; and Hillary’s campaign tries to bar a reporter for a conservative newspaper.

Have a great day.

Hillary failed to hand over Blumenthal emails . . . House GOP Benghazi investigators have discovered 60 new Libya communications between Sidney Blumenthal and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a congressional source told POLITICO on Monday — suggesting that either the State Department or the 2016 Democratic presidential contender withheld correspondence the panel had requested. The House Select Committee on Benghazi had quietly subpoenaed Blumenthal’s Libya emails. And on Friday, the longtime Clinton family friend — who is set to testify before investigators behind closed doors Tuesday morning — handed over 120 pages worth of new Libya- and Benghazi-related emails. Politico

WH reporter: “How do you justify” undisclosed party? . . . When they use what they so often refer to as “the people’s house” for a private bash that includes scores of wealthy individuals who may be trying to influence them in some way – or whom they may be trying to influence – any rudimentary conception of transparency demands that they disclose the party and the guest list so people can be interviewed before or after and reporters can determine the extent to which this is an innocent fun-fun affair or something else. White House Dossier

Obama-released illegals commit 121 murders . . . More than 100 immigrants whom the Obama administration released back into the community went on to be charged with subsequent killings, according to government data released Monday that raises more questions about whether immigration authorities are doing enough to detail illegal immigrants awaiting deportation. Washington Times

Obama bans trans fat . . . The Obama administration is making good on its pledge to all but ban trans fat nationwide. The FDA issued a final decision Tuesday that gives the food industry three years to phase out partially hydrogenated oils, the main source of trans fat, which are still used in a wide variety of products from microwave popcorn to cake frosting. Politico

Just remember, as the government continues to tell you what you can’t eat, that trans fats became popular in part because people decided they were a great replacement for saturated fats, which now aren’t looking as bad as people thought.

Americans want feds to guarantee Obamacare cash . . . A majority of Americans say Congress should make sure Obamacare subsidies to buy health insurance are available nationwide if the Supreme Court rules that the payments in at least 34 states are illegal, according to a poll released on Tuesday. Reuters

A close associate of Osama bin Laden in the years leading up to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on U.S. targets, Wuhayshi, a Yemeni in his late 30s, was named by Zawahri as al Qaeda’s effective number two in 2013. Reuters

Obama, Boehner abandon Tuesday trade . . . Instead, Boehner decided to impose a temporary rule that, if approved Tuesday, will allow him until July 30 to bring up the trade debate at any time for a do-over of the stalled companion legislation to the trade package. If successful, Boehner will have bought an additional six weeks to find a way out of the mess. Washington Post

Trump likely announcing candidacy today . . . Trump is to announce his 2016 intentions on Tuesday at a Manhattan skyscraper that bears his name. A highly successful businessman and reality television personality, Trump is positioned to have a greater impact on the early months of the Republican presidential primary contest than many GOP leaders might like. Associated Press

He is expected to reveal a net worth of $9 billion. I thought, gosh, I’m not even worth half that much.

Nicole Wallace: Jeb is “hot” when he speaks Spanish . . . “Listen, I can admit that in English, he’s a little wonky, but in Spanish, it’s like Javier Bardem is speaking, and I’m in love. I think the whole campaign should be conducted in Spanish,” Wallace said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Tuesday. Politico

Oh no. Is this common? Why did I take French in high school??

Moderates not so hot on Jeb . . . Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush starts his presidential bid with strong name recognition but only lukewarm support from the Republican moderates whose backing he will need to capture his party’s nomination, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll. Reuters

Bad tidings at the Hillary launch . . . Her political campaign kickoff redo Saturday had some bad tidings. Her speech was fine, but no one seemed to find it really inspirational. Her crowd was very white, and while enthusiastic, not particularly awed. White House Dossier

Can Hillary match Bernie’s frenzied fans? . . . “Sometimes our campaign has been referred to as a fringe campaign,” boomed the 73-year-old Vermont senator, leaning in a little too close to the mic. “Well, if this is fringe, I would hate to see mainstream!” Politico

As a result, he was blocked Monday from covering her events in person for the pool. Major media organizations in Clinton’s traveling press pool issued a statement Monday night defending Martosko and rejecting any attempt by the Clinton campaign to “dictate” who covers the candidate. Fox News

Reagan carried a gun . . . I was in Secret Service headquarters when they told me about former President Ronald Reagan’s biggest secret: When Reagan was President, he carried his own gun. I couldn’t believe it. Reagan would take the gun onto Air Force One. “It’s true,” they said. A .38. Reagan used to hide it in his briefcase and take it on Air Force One. Brad Meltzer in the NY Daily News

KISSINGER: Can we tell them no? When I talked to the president he was loaded. Politico
