If the middle is actually going to set an agenda and have actions and policies and philosophies that enhance the possibilities of getting a broad based, established, functioning middle class than it will have to buck the inertia that lies in its way, in its wake.
Nothin’ for nothin’, power to the powerful, the culling of society of the undesirables, political plays set to go after power, nothing more, the power of the purse of the godly being more influential than the actors of government.
Corruption of all types and stripes goes with the territory of politics. Corruption bends resource, ideas, lives, canon fodder towards the rational aims of the corrupted, the corrupters …. no pain ( for the losers ), no gain.
Interests are always in place. Interests have to always be challenged. Other than talk where will the sainted middle get the goods, the pathways, the standing to change the course of the grand ship of state?
