When I saw this on the Sons of Confederate Veterans Facebook page, it reminded me of what my friend Michael Cushman was saying the other day:
As recently as June 13, Gov. Bill Haslam signed a proclamation to honor Nathan Bedford Forrest Day on July 13 in Tennessee. Dylann Roof’s shooting spree in Charleston happened four days later on June 17.
